Fitness encompasses a wide range of areas that can be focused on: Muscular Strength, Cardiovascular Fitness, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility and Motor Skills.
Body, Heart and Mind can focus on one or all the above depending on the needs of the individual.
There is also Functional Fitness training where you work out to prepare the body to perform daily activities for everyday life - walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs - without any form of pain or discomfort.
Workouts that include functional exercise challenge the body to work as one.
We also offer Sport Specific training for anyone who would like to train for an up and coming event, a sport that is played regular or for an individual who would like to get fit for the fun games played at the weekend.
Core Stability – The “core” consists of a variety of muscles. These stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulder plus it provides a foundation for movement. Most people would like to improve the abdominal & lower back for either aesthetics or to strengthen that area.
Stretching - Flexibility is an area that is often over looked.
Body, Heart and Mind can incorporate this in a workout schedule or prescribe a standalone program that will improve flexibility.
